Georgia police chase ends in tragedy after car crashes underneath semi truck
After a three mile police pursuit, Billy Frazier ran a red light and crashed into a turning truck, going underneath and then catching fire. It was only after the car crashed that police realized that there were four children inside the car.
Police pulled three of the children from the car, but Frazier and his ten year old son did not survive. The three children suffered non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver wasn’t seriously hurt.
The deputy says that he would likely have ended the pursuit if he had known that there were children in the car.
Frazier had a large quantity of various drugs in his possession and was driving on a suspended license while he was on probation.
