JCT contracts also referred to as the Joint Contracts Tribunal is a standard form of a contract established to avoid any disputes related to the construction projects. The JCT has seven member bodies, representing the sectors of the industry. One of the members is the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors(RICS). The JCT offers a more extensive range of contract documentation for the construction industry compared to other contract producers in the United Kingdom.
