言葉遊び (Wordplay), also known as “kotoba asobi” (the title’s romanized name) is a song that employs puns, homonyms, and other various aspects of wordplay found in the Japanese language, as Yi Xi (a popular SynthV vocal used in the song) mocks the listener for not understanding both her quick speaking and her choice of words.
The song’s titular wordplay is almost impossible to translate into English, considering most of the humor can only be understood by someone with a fair grasp of Japanese.
