CLC Lecture series "Global Trends in Shipping and Impact on Port Cities" (19 February 2014, MND auditorium, Singapore).
The Centre for Liveable Cities, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the MPA Academy invited Dr Martin Stopford, President of Clarkson Research Services Limited to discuss trends driving the shipping industry, including rising fossil fuel prices and environmental costs as well as changing geopolitical scene and mechanisation. Dr Stopford considers the implications of these developing mega-trends in the context of port cities. The audience Q&A was moderated by Mr Andrew Tan Chief Executive of MPA.
