“Clean and beautiful…with a little bit of androgyny,” says hairstylist Yusef Williams as he works Tyla’s curly blonde locks. After stealing the show at last year’s Met Gala, Tyla is back to have a good time. Wearing a pinstriped Jacquemus dress inspired by the shirts of the venerable André Leon Talley, Tyla put together a dream team of collaborators that includes stylist Law Roach and makeup artist Pat McGrath. She also talks about the prevalence of dandyism in South Africa and how excited she is for her new single “Bliss.”
