At the turn of the 20th century, the world we live in seemed like a scene in a movie. It felt like people all over the globe were living in a dream. In the first three decades of the century, two major wars had broken out changing political and ideological circumstances across the globe. It seemed almost comical how drastic these changes were, and as a reaction the Surrealist cultural movement was born.
