All the leaders of Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Russia starting from 1919 onwards.

Clarifications regarding certain countries

1. IRELAND, UK, NETHERLANDS, PORTUGAL, SPAIN, ITALY: In these 6 countries, the head of state (King/President) has a symbolic role therefore I chose to represent them by the heads of Government(Taoiseach / Prime Minister). The only exception is the 2nd Spanish Republic (1931-1939) which was semi-Presidential instead of Parliamentary and I chose Presidents of the Republic(Zamora and Azana) instead of Prime Ministers.

2. GERMANY: For the Weimar Republic(1919-1933), I chose Presidents as it was Semi-Presidential while for the post 1949 Germany I chose Chancellors as German President since 1949 has largely a symbolic role.

3. FRANCE: For the 3rd and 4th Republics, I chose Prime Minister while for the 5th Republic(1959 - present) , I chose the President. This is because the President in 3rd and 4th Republics was largely a symbolic figure which is NOT the case with the current(5th) Republic.

4. POLAND: Post-1991 Poland has a symbolic Presidency so I chose Prime Ministers. For the pre-1939 Poland the President was effectively running the government due to political instability. During the Communist rule(1945-1991) the First Secretary of the PZPR was the de-facto ruler, as was also the case with the Soviet Union. Also, Hans Frank is shown as the Polish ruler from 1939-1945 as he was the Governor-General of N*zi occupied Poland from that period (1939-1945).
