After Sweden, the Holy Quran was desecrated and burned in Denmark. A Danish far-right anti-Islam group burned a copy of the Quran as well as the Iraqi flag in front of the Iraqi embassy in Copenhagen. A Danish group called "Danske Patrioter" (Danish Patriots) waved anti-Islam banners and chanted insulting slogans against Islam. The incident triggered massive protests in Iraq.
