Manson Gibson is by far the best awkward fighter I've ever seen. He won 12 world championships in multiple rulesets and credit it to his extensive background in praying mantis kung fu.

Not only did he have over 100 wins with over 90% win rate, he also had 80 KOs, many with head kicks.

Manson didn't just fight your average fighters, he fought the best around the world. This would make Manson the best kung fu fighter of all time. He gave everyone he fought a lot of trouble due to the timing and rhythm.

Dubbed the Black Bruce Lee, Master Blaster, and the "Thai Killer," he chucked spinning back fists, side kicks, and spinning kicks like no other in the history of combat sports.

Manson is living proof that Taekwondo style side kicks and spinning kicks can work at the highest level. FYI, this is a similar style to how many American kickboxers fought in the old days before low kicks were introduced.

Once low kicks got introduced, almost everyone converted into a squared stance. But Manson did not want to change. Instead, he made what he knew work. Just because it is unorthodox now, doesn't mean it doesn't work! There is always a logic behind high level unorthodox fighters. What is now unorthodox was once orthodox.
