ggplot2 is the de-facto standard tool for creating visualizations in R. Even experienced R programmers sometimes struggle to remember the exact commands to build up plots. So a graphical interface with drag-and-drop functionality comes in very handy! Enter esquisse by Victor Perrier and Fanny Meyer. You can obtain the R code needed to re-create your plot, or directly export the plot to PNG or Powerpoint format.

ggplot2 is the de-facto standard tool for creating visualizations in R. Even experienced R programmers sometimes struggle to remember the exact commands to build up plots. So a graphical interface with drag-and-drop functionality comes in very handy! Enter esquisse by Victor Perrier and Fanny Meyer. You can obtain the R code needed to re-create your plot, or directly export the plot to PNG or Powerpoint format.

esquisse is a special type of Shiny app: a Shiny Gadget. One benefit of this approach is that you can conveniently start it from the Addins menu in RStudio.
